Junior Seals Announce 2024/2025 Winter Team Tryouts in San Diego

San Diego, CA – The Junior Seals are gearing up for the 2024/2025 season, and the highly anticipated Winter Team Tryouts are just around the corner. Boys and girls eager to compete at a high level in box lacrosse will have the chance to showcase their skills on Wednesday, December 11th, at Rady Children’s Field.

The tryouts will be organized by age groups based on graduation year, ensuring fair and competitive evaluations. The Junior Seals program continues to build on its mission to develop top youth lacrosse talent in Southern California, providing players with high-level coaching and opportunities to compete in regional and national tournaments.

Tryout Schedule – Wednesday, December 11th:

• 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM: Boys (Graduation Years 2033/2034 and 2031/2032)
• 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Boys (Graduation Years 2029/2030 and 2027/2028)
• 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Boys (Graduation Years 2025/2026)
• 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM: Girls (Graduation Years  2025/2026, 2027/2028 and 2029/2030)

Players are encouraged to arrive at least 20 minutes before their scheduled time for check-in and warm-ups. The Junior Seals coaching staff will be closely evaluating each player to determine team placements for the upcoming winter season.

The Junior Seals are known for fostering a competitive and supportive environment that helps young athletes grow in skill, confidence, and passion for the sport. Players selected for the winter teams will have the opportunity to compete at the Seals Winter Classic and the USBOXLA Western Qualifier.
